Day 0 Cologne, Germany

Cologne is fourth largest city in Germany and largest city of the Land of North Rhine-Westphalia. One of the key inland ports of Europe, it is the historic, cultural, and economic capital of the Rhineland. Cologne is famous for its 12 great Romanesque churches - especially the magnificent Cologne Cathedral - all an easy walk from the historic Old Town. Its university is one of the oldest and largest in Europe. Among its attractions are Roman remains, medieval churches, Baroque palaces, and museums that reflect such diverse subjects and the various products for which it is known: fragrances, mustard, and chocolate.

Day 1 Rudesheim, Germany

Rudesheim is a German town in the Rhine Gorge, and part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site in this region. Rudesheim is known for two things: wine and the Rhein (Rhine) river. A historical landmark Drosselgasse is an integral part of the town's past. Rudesheim offers restaurants, cafes, bars, wine stalls, gelaterias, souvenirs shops and hotels. Next to its extensive vineyards, the city's rich cultural and historic background make it one of the most intriguing places to visit in the country.

Day 2 Speyer, Germany

Speyer is a port on the left bank of the Rhine River at the mouth of the Speyer River, south of Ludwigshafen. Its centre is home to some outstanding museums and the remains of a medieval synagogue, and is easily explored on foot. Speyer has a lot to offer: Imperial Cathedral and Memorial Church, a technology museum and a sea-life centre.

Day 3 Mainz, Germany

Mainz is located on the Rhine river at its confluence with the Main river, opposite Wiesbaden on the border with Hesse. This is a city of rich cultural heritage and one of the best places to experience the past is restored Old Town with magnificent Mainz Dom, cathedral with Gothic, Romanesque, and Baroque styles all on display. Mainz is famous for its university, its Roman heritage, its status as a media hub and regional capital, and winegrowing tradition. Three most defining features are the Romanesque cathedral, the Gutenberg printing press and the Rhineland carnival.

Day 4 Koblenz, Germany

Koblenz is a German city situated on both banks of the Rhine where it is joined by the Moselle. The main sights are the old castle of Ehrenbreitstein, which dominates the right bank of the wide Rhine, and Fort Konstantin, strategically located in the heart of the old city, with views over both rivers. One of the newer tourist attractions in the city, the Koblenz Cable Car takes visitors on a thrilling aerial journey to Ehrenbreitstein castle

Day 5 Nijmegen, Netherlands

Nijmegen is located in the east of the Netherlands near the German border and it is well known for being the oldest city in the Netherlands. The city is full of magnificent historic buildings and centuries-old plazas and is home to Holland's oldest shopping street, the Lange Hezelstraat. The main museums are the Museumpark Orientalis and House of the History of Nijmegen. Nijmegen with its active social scene and beautiful surrounding countryside is well worth to visit.

Day 6 Rotterdam, Netherlands

Rotterdam is, besides one of the largest ports in the world, also the second-largest city in the Netherlands. Rotterdam is a city of many faces: a tough port city, a trendy nightlife city, a sophisticated shopping city, and a hip artistic city. Above all, Rotterdam is the architecture city of Holland that stimulates innovation.
