The Hague is the capital city of the province of South Holland. This wonderful city is filled with museums, beautiful shopping streets, and welcoming restaurants. The beautiful beaches of Scheveningen are nearby. The Hague is also called ‘the Royal City by the Sea' as well as the residence city because of the many members of the Royal House who live in the chic city. Day 3 Kinderdijk, Netherlands

Kinderdijk is a village in the municipality of Molenlanden, in the province of South Holland, Netherlands. It is located about 15 km east of Rotterdam. Kinderdijk is a beautiful landscape of empty marshes and waterways above which 19 historic windmills rise like sentinels. The mills are kept in operating condition and some still function as residences. They have been a UNESCO World Heritage site since 1997.
