Today Milan offers a sublime mix of historical architecture, modern high-rise skyscrapers, all mingled together with a dash of Italian life. The city is particularly known for its abundance of high end fashion retailers and the beautiful Duomo Cathedral. Milan is a major world fashion centre and a global hub for trade and design. Like most cities in Italy, Milan has developed its own local culinary tradition, which, uses more frequently rice than pasta, butter than vegetable oil and features almost no tomato or fish.

Day 2 Verona, Italy

Verona is a city on the Adige river in Veneto, Italy and one of the main tourist destinations in northern Italy, because of its artistic heritage and several annual fairs, shows, and operas. Although it's most famous as the setting for Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet, Verona has much more to offer: countless churches, a couple of architecturally fascinating bridges over the Adige, regional wine and food from the Veneto hinterland and some impressive art.

Day 3 Venice, Italy

Venice is a city in northeastern Italy and situated on a group of 118 small islands that are separated by canals and linked by over 400 bridges. There are numerous attractions in Venice, such as St Mark's Basilica, the Doge's Palace, the Grand Canal, and the Piazza San Marco. The Lido di Venezia is also a popular international luxury destination, attracting thousands of actors, critics, celebrities, and others in the cinematic industry. Although the city is facing some major challenges, including financial difficulties, pollution, flood, an excessive number of tourists, Venice remains a very popular tourist destination and has been ranked the most beautiful city in the world.

Day 4 Chioggia, Italy

Chioggia is a coastal town and a miniature version of Venice, in the Veneto region of northern Italy. Chioggia has always been known for its harbour, for the saltern coves and the production of vegetables. Chioggia is also one of the most famous seaside resorts overlooking the Adriatic Sea, equipped with a beach about ten kilometres long. Nature lovers can also make pleasant excursions among channels, marshes, woods and nature reserves in the surrounding region.

Day 5 Polesella, Italy

Polesella is located in the Province of Rovigo and is typically a stop along the way while taking a cruise along the Po River. Thanks to its mild continental climate, spending outdoors - whether eating, shopping, or exploring - is a pleasant way to spend a day. The main attractions are Villa Armellini and Villa Morosini, with magnificent architecture and a lovely garden.

Day 6 Porto Viro, Italy

Porto Viro, established in 1995 through the merger of two smaller centres, is the third-largest municipality in the province of Rovigo, Italy. Porto Viro is the last major town on the Po, serving as a regional riverine port before it enters the Adriatic. Main buildings are Court Museum and many churches and other religious buildings.

Day 7 Burano, Italy

Burano and Murano are islands in the Venetian lagoon and are famous for the high quality of their artisan crafts. These colourful islands are famous for their glass making, their lace work and of course their bright kaleidoscopic buildings. Travellers can visit a glass-blowing factory in Murano and see beautiful lace fabric in Burano.
