Day 3 Kalocsa, Hungary

Kalocsa is a town in Hungary, best known for the Hungarian paprika. Many of the attractions in Kalocsa are religious in nature, starting with the Szentháromság ter or Holy Trinity Square. Near the Square is the Archbishop's Cathedral, which has been through several renovations because of war damage. With paprika or "red gold" as one of the town's major exports and a popular ingredient in Hungarian cooking, little wonder that the Paprika Museum is a popular draw. There are paintings, religious artefacts, and handcrafted items featuring the famous Kalocsa embroidery.

Day 4 Osijek, Croatia

Osijek is the fourth largest city in and the largest city and the economic and cultural centre of the eastern Croatian region of Slavonia. The main attraction are Tvrđa fortress complex, the Museum of Slavonia, a Franciscan Monastery and the beloved Church of St Anthony. Thanks to its Habsburg and Hungarian heritage, Osijek goes overboard when it comes to cakes, pancakes and pastries.

Day 5 Belgrade, Serbia

Belgrade is the capital and largest city of Serbia. One of the oldest cities in Europe and the only one built on the confluence of two rivers, Belgrade is the city that never sleeps and the symbol of great nightlife. Day 6 Iron Gates, Serbia

The Iron Gates is a gorge on the river Danube. It forms part of the boundary between Serbia (to the south) and Romania (north). In the broad sense, it encompasses a route of 134 km. At this point in the Danube, the river separates the southern Carpathian Mountains from the northwestern foothills of the Balkan Mountains. The Romanian side of the gorge constitutes the Iron Gates natural park, whereas the Serbian part constitutes the Đerdap national park.

Day 7 Vidin, Bulgaria

Vidin is one of the oldest towns along the Bulgarian Danube bank. The small town has a lovely, tree-lined city park along the Danube that leads from the cruise ship dock to Baba Vida, a medieval fortress built by the Bulgars in the 10th to the 13th centuries. Baba Vida is one of the last remaining intact Bulgar fortresses. Vidin also has intact sections of the city wall, a large downtown square, and a lively city market, so it's a fun place to spend a few hours exploring on foot. Veliko Tarnovo is located on the Yantra River and is famously known as the historical capital of the Second Bulgarian Kingdom, attracting many tourists with its unique architecture. Today's Tarnovo has Bulgaria's second-largest university and is home to a multicultural expat scene. The most significant monument of culture in Veliko Tarnovo is the medieval fortress Tsarevets, situated on the homonymous peak, surrounded on three sides by the river Yantra. The town is magnificent with its beautiful houses and a rich history of landmarks that are attractive for the guests, so It is not accidental that Veliko Tarnovo was declared a Balkan capital of cultural tourism, and a few times it was awarded the prize The Most Beautiful Town in Bulgaria.
